Meet Lousie and her savannah monitor Virgil
I bought Virgil last April, he hatched in February, he was a feisty little guy but still good natured. As he got bigger he loved to cuddle he would for hours and he also loved to explore the garden and dig for worms or snails, he adores cockroaches. When he was little hated my son would tail whip and hiss at him, but they sorted out there differences and are good friends now. Virgil is a very gentle little man and will taken mice gently from my hand. He only bit me twice, once he bit my toe as I thought I was being clever wiggling it, and the 2nd time was when he mistaken my finger for a cockroach. Virgil loves to sit in the bath also likes to feel the shower on his back, all in all he is a very spoiled little man and we love him. 04/2013 |
